A sketch that made sense years later when I colored it.

As per usual, the sub conscious speaks in volumes when creating art.

I felt disengaged with society, and like Vincent Van Goughs view of his Village, this image is representative of someone caught behind bars.

It is the corner of Swanston Street and Flinders Street in Melbourne, a place where I did a lot of sketching.

Psychburger

A hamburger rendered in psychadelic colors-highlighting the artificiality of modern food. The background is rendered in '0's' and '1's', the binary code for computer storage.

Again highlighting the cultural delusion of what is natural.

Bedroom

This self portrait, very Brett Whitely influenced, shows my bedroom. Mountains of books guitars and stick insects!

The roof is rendered a sky, hinting at the freedom I find in the solitude of my own room and belongings.

A pun intended was the image of my face described on the paper I am drawing on.
