Moroccan Boy

This young chap was most interested in me sketching-so I asked (in sign language), to draw him.

A poor boy, he hadnt had the education to allow him to even write his own name, so a spectator did him the favor of writing 'Hicham', his name, for me with my brush.

An aincient and beautiful fishing harbour in Essouria, on north of Agadir, Morocco.

Zohra

Agadir was a very westernised part of Morocco, and Zohra sat down to have her portrait drawn. She couldnt speak english, and was most discusted that she thought it looked like she had a moustache!
